Join PIKE at CMU Spring Carnival 2024!

Brothers and Alumni of the Beta Sigma Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity:

Spring Carnival weekend at CMU is April 11-14, 2024.

All Pike alumni and families are encouraged to attend. It's a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet fun brothers, and relive some of the best moments from our time at CMU. As always, we'll be rooting for returning Men's A champs -  PiKA Buggy during the races!

Weekend Agenda of Activities

We encourage you to also register for the on-campus events on CMU’s Carnival website, which includes many other events on campus. Many CMU events are livestreamed - please check CMU's website for details.

Thursday, April 11

• 12pm-2pm: Buggy Showcase

  • View the latest buggy designs, talk with the teams and vote for the Buggy People’s Choice Award.

Friday, April 12

• 8am-12pm; Prelim Buggy Races

  • Watch the races with fellow PIKE alumni. We usually have gatherings of people in the middle of Flagstaff Hill, and at the top of Hill 2.

• 1-3pm: Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Gathering

  • Location: Peter, Wright and McKenna Rooms, 2nd Floor, Cohon University Center

  • All PiKA community members (including children) are invited to attend this luncheon. Registration is strongly encouraged to ensure we can accommodate all guests.

• 3pm-onwards: Free time

  • The BSAA is not planning anything specific for Friday afternoon or evening. Feel free to plan your own meetups with other alumni. 

• 7pm-9pm: Buggy Bash

  • This event is hosted by the CMU Buggy Alumni Association. Please the CMU website if you'd like to attend. 

Saturday, April 13

• 8:am-12pm: Final Races

  • Watch the races with fellow PIKE alumni. We usually have gatherings of people in the middle of Flagstaff Hill, and at the top of Hill 2.

• 1-3pm: Beta Sigma Annual Meeting with Lunch

  • Location: Giant Eagle Auditorium, Baker Hall 

  • All brothers and alumni (and families) are welcome. We will have lunch while we discuss the chapter and alumni organizations.

• 4-6pm: Pike Happy Hour at Hofbrauhaus

  • Join fellow Pikes for a happy hour and/or dinner at Hofbrauhaus. We don't have an official reservation but we will try to grab an area together for drinks and food. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we'll be outside in the back.
